Legrand's Intuity Version 2.1 Now Andriod Compatible
Legrand is releasing version 2.1 of its Intuity home automation system, which will include deployment of the first Intuity app for use with Andriod phones and tablets.
According to Legrand, the new release extends system compatibility to additional security system control panels, increases programmable automation features for lighting control and improves the reliability of Wi-Fi links between system components.
The additional security panels supported in the new version are the DSC Neo, Interlogix Network and Honeywell Vista 21IP
“This is a significant update for Intuity to aid our installation partners in integrating their preferred security systems,” Fritz Werder, VP & General Manager, Nuvo/On-Q, said in a statement.
“All of these enhancements, especially our compatibility with both iOS and Android devices, greatly expand Intuity’s appeal to builders and home buyers, and it confirms our commitment to continue enlarging the Intuity ecosystem.”
The Andriod app is now available free from Google Play.
Version 2.1 will download automatically to currently installed systems, and users of the system’s iOS app will be prompted to download an update.
Version 2.1 also includes programmable “activity triggers” from RF lighting devices to give builders and homeowners more options to automatically control other devices or systems linked to Intuity.
