A/V infrastructure, networking and digital systems supplier Legrand is simplifying the integration of its radiant and adorne lines’ RF lighting control with third-party products with the introduction of three new IP-based drivers that work with Control4, Elan and RTI home automation systems.
The new drivers eliminate the need for RS232-to-RF interfaces for third-party integration, saving time and money in installations, says Legrand. Legrand’s LC7001 Whole House Lighting Controller will now work as a bridge that can communicate with the Control4, Elan and RTI control systems.
Legrand RF lighting controls constitute a whole-home solution for custom integration projects, with a line of dimmers, switches, scene controllers and plug-ins. Available in the designs of the radiant and adorne collections, devices can be mixed and matched. Based on a proprietary RF protocol, these devices provide consistent lighting inside and outside the home to address security, comfort and entertainment needs. Advanced functionality is offered in devices such as Legrand’s Tru-Universal dimmer that works with any 120V dimmable lamp, load, or fixture, allowing integrators to have one dimmer on their truck for all their lighting needs, including LEDs.
