Klipsch’s Next-Gen ‘The Three’ Gets an Assist from Google
Klipsch reveals that it has added built-in Google Assistant and Chromecast functionality to its next-generation Heritage Wireless tabletop speaker, ‘The Three’ ($499).
While the speaker’s technology is cutting edge, its design blends a decidedly retro, mid-century modern look with signature Klipsch acoustics, including an integrated subwoofer for enhanced bass performance, and an array of connectivity options, including multi-room readiness. Setup is done via the Google Home App.
‘The Three’ with the Google Assistant offers functionality that includes the ability to ask questions and get information, stream music, hear the news, weather and traffic, add to a shopping list, control smart home devices, and make a phone call, among other tasks. Other appointments on the Bluetooth-compatible device include a distinctive walnut-veneer cabinet with a heather gray grille cloth, and aluminum switches and knobs that complement the retro aesthetics.
