Klipsch Group appoints Oscar Bernardo as new chief operating officer
Klipsch Group, Inc., announced on Tuesday that it has selected Oscar Bernardo as the company’s next Chief Operating Officer. Klipsch Group, owner of the Klipsch, Jamo, and Energy audio brands, went with a familiar face—Bernardo had served as the organization’s president of global operations and has been with the company for the past nine years.
“Oscar has over 30 years of industry experience leading operations and sales,” Paul Jacobs, president and CEO of Klipsch Group, said in a statement. “He’s a dedicated, respected, trusted leader that has contributed significantly to the success of our company. I am proud to have him by my side leading Klipsch Group to our bright future.”
Bernardo has taken on a number of roles since joining Klipsch Group in 2006, including various senior-level management positions, and he played an integral part in communicating the company’s mission and vision globally, Klipsch Group said. Shortly after joining, he was promoted to senior vice president of operations, and in 2011 he moved into a role as senior vice president of sales and operations for the EMEA sector.
In his new role, Bernardo will work alongside Jacobs to “carry out the company’s vision of new thinking, new ideas, and developing new ways to create, distribute, and sell” high-performance audio-based entertainment products.
