KanexPro Launches Flexible 4K Modular Matrix Switchers
KanexPro, a provider of connectivity solutions to the IT and A/V markets, has announced the launch of the Flexible Modular Matrix (FLEX-MMX), a series of modular matrix switchers.
The FLEX-MMX from KanexPro is intended to allow system designers to create a flexible matrix system based on project requirements from 11x1 to 31x1 input and output combinations with zero latency through zero-transfer switching.
The FLEX-MMX has Power over Cable (PoC) supported by HDBaseT input and outputs cards with 4K/60 up to 230 feet. According to KanexPro, this makes FLEX-MMX work for command and control centers as well as large AV conference rooms that require up-to-second viewing of critical information and high-resolution graphics.
KanexPro also stated that the FLEX-MMX series switchers can be controlled using a built-in GUI web interface to provide easy set-up, protected login, custom labeling and simple user interface for switching and controlling.
The matrix switcher series supports seamless switching and scaling and independent routing of audio and video to compensate for any signal attenuation caused with powerful EDID and HDCP management.

The FLEX-MMX, set to display at InfoComm 2016, supports video resolutions up to 4K, 1080p and WUXGA with HDBaseT inputs and outputs. FLEX-MMX includes VGA, DVI, SDI, HDMI and HDBaseT card compatibility, integrated EDID and HDCP 2.2 and built-in web-based GUI for quick access to control via network.
