A brief description of your role there: I establish and maintain relationships with our vendor partners in the US through account management, training, and distribution; I oversee our eCommerce operations, and I service all warranty claims in the US.

Accomplishments and why those are important to you or your company: In a leadership role at Best Buy, my team and I were able to deliver a top 50 (top 1%) performance over an entire fiscal year. This is important to me because I was able to demonstrate to myself and others my progress as a leader and as a talent developer.

What do you think is the major problem with the industry today, and what needs to be done to fix it?
Technology outpaces everyone, and the products we create are becoming more and more advanced. At the same time, consumers expect their experiences to become easier and easier, so it’s a balancing act to provide the latest and greatest without introducing a steep learning curve that makes the product intimidating. We must provide intuitive solutions along with an accessible support network to make sure consumers don’t get left behind.
