It’s Almost Time for InfoComm
InfoComm International is gearing up for its 2014 trade show, and there’s plenty to be excited about. The trade association represents the professional audiovisual and information communications industries worldwide, and serves its members and the industry from offices throughout the world as well.
Offering education, resources and events, InfoComm 2014 is the largest and most comprehensive A/V tradeshow and will take place June 14-20 in Las Vegas. The event includes exhibits, conferences, workshops, courses, and opportunities to meet the experts and catch up on what’s happening in A/V.
More than 500,000 square feet of show floor will be dedicated to exhibits and special events. InfoComm 2014 will have 950 exhibitors and 36,000+ attendees from over 110 countries, a third of which will come from technology managers, specifiers and end-user communities. Business, government, military, education, houses of worship, healthcare, hospitality, retail and entertainment are all industries that benefit from the technology solutions offered by InfoComm.
The show will offer extensive education opportunities for industry professionals and novices alike, including Three-Day Courses, A/V Tech Tours, Manufacturers’ Training and more.
“The audiovisual communications marketplace has come to define the intersection of A/V and IT, technology and architecture, business and entertainment, government and hospitality, healthcare and education, live events and installed systems,” said Betsy Jaffe, Vice President of Communications. “That’s why reporters and analysts with different specialties and from around the world choose to cover the InfoComm show.
“Whether you’re interested in technology and the 10,000+ products on display, or you’re focused on the vertical markets that draw experts and end users to InfoComm, such as hospitality, colleges and universities and corporate technology, there’s no shortage of stories, trends and insights.”
Three-Day Courses will be held from June 14-16, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This year will introduce “All About Audio,” “How to Be an APEx Company for Systems Integrators” and “Lighting Design for Commercial Spaces” to an already thorough lineup.
According to InfoComm, the digital signage marketplace will see a 20-percent increase this year to become a $7 billion industry. The new education program “Solutions Summit: Digital Signage” will address the issues involved in finding the right technology, problem solving, dealing with questions about what’s next, and how digital signage works in conjunction with other media.
