Integra’s DTR-5.8 ($800 SRP) is its first home theater receiver with HDMI 1.3a processing, as well as its first to offer both Sirius and XM satellite radio compatibility. The 7.1-channel, two-zone component includes two HDMI v.1.3a inputs and one output, making it “completely compatible” with full 1,080p digital video signals, including Deep Color (36-bit) information. Also included is internal decoding for DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby TrueHD and Dolby Digital Plus lossless and high-resolution audio formats. Legacy analog video sources are transcoded to both HDMI and component video, including Faroudja DCDi Edge Technology de-interlaceing for 480i signals. Bi-directional RS-232, Remote Interactive over HDMI system control, three programmable 12-volt triggers, dual IR inputs, and three unique assignable IR code sets are also included.
