Premium AV manufacturer Integra has announced four new products at the recent CEDIA Expo in San Diego, including the HDB-RX1 receiver, which is able to carry uncompressed 4K HDR video even over long distances. They also announced the "Dot 1" Series of network components that so far contains two receivers and an AV controller.
HDB-RX1 4K HDBaseT Receiver
As mentioned, this receiver is certified to transmit uncompressed 4K video with HDR10 and Dolby Vision compatibility thanks to its significant transmission speed of 18GB/s. in addition to the unit being IR Control and RS232 pass-through enabled for home automation, the 4K HDR HDBaseT LAN and HDCP 2.2-compliant HDMI output can transmit video to an existing AVR or A/V processor.
DRC-R1.1 11.2-Channel Network A/V Controller
The THX-certified DRC-R1.1 features "copper screws", "floating circuit boards", as well as multiple 32-bit DSPs and DACs. With a processor built for theater-reference sound, the device includes "state-of-the-art front-end technologies" such as 4K HDBaseT support, object-based audio processing, and features gold-plated 11.2-channel balanced XLR audio pre-outs.
DRX-R1.1 11.2-Channel Network A/V Receiver
Described in the company's press release as a "flagship THX Certified Select network receiver with unsurpassed quality" the DRX-R1.1 features power at 140W per channel as well as the 4K video support and audio-processing features also present in the DRC-R1.1. In addition to its "double-skinned and braced chassis", the product provides "absolute sonic purity at earth-shaking volume" thanks to its High-Current Amplifier Design that includes a "custom-made magnetic-flux low-hum EI power transformer."
DRX-7.1 9.2-Channel Network A/V Receiver
Integra describes this as a product for "film and music lovers with big rooms and high expectations", reproducing "high-resolution-entertainment true to the source." Featuring 140W per channel with 9 channels, the device contains 11.2 multichannel pre-outs supporting an object-based audio speaker setup up to 7.2.4 through an external 2-channel amplifier. Flagship features such as 4K HDBaseT and "dedicated multi-zone processing" are also included, in addition to wireless technologies and custom integration options.
The announced products will be available in late fall.
