Home technology products manufacturer InnerSpace Electronics raked in a number of honors and recognitions during its time at CEDIA 2015 held in Dallas in October. The company announced this week that its award-winning Orange County, NY project was recognized again during this year’s event—this time it was named Best Integrated Home category of the 2015 CEDIA Electronic Lifestyles Home Technology Professional Awards.
The CEDIA Electronic Lifestyles Awards Program recognizes the best home technology products that are designed and installed by CEDIA member home technology professionals across a number of categories. Unlike in years past, CEDIA announced a list of finalists the week prior to its show to help increase awareness and showcase the work done by CEDIA members.
The InnerSpace Electronics’ Orange County, NY whole-home project also was awarded Gold honors at the 2015 Electronic House Home of the Year Awards in June for its array of custom smart home tech solutions installed throughout the property.
“We approached this project with an eager, open mindset, knowing that it was going to be challenging to take the owner’s brainchild and turn it into a connected home that meets all of their needs,” Barry Reiner, owner and president of InnerSpace Electronics, said in a statement. “There isn’t a one-fits-all solution for all of these whole home projects; and our team is excellent at connecting the pieces in a unique way that yields results.”
The Orange County, NY project involved a 14,000-square-foot house that was set on a property covering 132 acres of land. To help the owners keep an eye on that massive property, InnerSpace installed 29 IC Realtime Cameras to monitor the home itself and the surrounding property. The cameras’ motion sensors automatically signal the Savant automation system, which then activates TVs inside the home to display footage of the wildlife that roams the property.
