IC Showcases Retail Solutions, Ella Capabilities at ISC West
IC Realtime has their game-changing Ella on display at ISC West this year, alongside a handful of other goodies that will help solidify them at the top of the food chain.
First spotted at CEDIA, Ella is one of the most robust security products on the market, offering a long list of A.I. features that help clients analyze, store, view, and watch their recorded footage. Using machine learning, Ella is able to identify shapes, animals, colors, objects, people, and everything in between. It can turn that into real-time reports and learn from its mistakes.
Alongside Ella, IC Realtime has a new 3 megapixel, IP-based surveillance camera and that is aimed at retail installations. The dual lens design helps differentiate between 2D and 3D, i.e. flat objects and people. The advanced "stereo vision algorithms" provide people counting metrics back to the business owner that can influence decisions on store layout and products display.
“Heat mapping and people counting analytics help retail environments analyze which areas of the sales floor catch the attention of patrons, which areas are neglected and identify ideal locations for products to potentially increase sales,” said Matt Sailor, CEO for IC Realtime. “This new model, the ICIP–3128–3D surveillance camera, is a simple install that can help our dealers and installers align sales with data and create more effective retail environments for their customers.”
Heat mapping metrics include provides an immediate visual summary of information collected by the camera on the most popular or heavily trafficked areas of the retail environment. Additionally, the surveillance camera can be used to provide metrics on how many patrons entered or exited a certain boundary within a certain amount of time with 98% accuracy.
