CLONED: HTSA Names Award Winners; Control4 is Top Vendor
At its annual HTSA Awards Wednesday night at the Chicago restaurant known as Untitled, Home Technologies Specialists of America spread the hardware around, handing out its eight awards to eight different companies.
Control4 took home the award for Vendor of the Year, with URC named Most Supportive Vendor, while Leon Speakers' Noah Kaplan was presented with the first-time award of Technology Innovator of the Year award.
In special individual awards, Sandy Gross of Goldenear was named Lifetime Achievement Award winner, with Ari Supran of Sonance named Man of the Year.
HTSA handed its Technology Innovations Award to two different companies and products: Lenbrook for its BlueSound system, and Savant for its SmartView Tile System.
The winner of Best Audio Product was Paradigm's Soundtrack System, while best video product was Sony's XPR-X850 4K TV. Best integration product was awarded to Lutron for its Triathalon shades.
