HTSA Member Gramophone Launches Kitchen Design Center
Longtime Home Technology Specialists of America (HTSA) member Gramophone has opened a new Kitchen Design Center in the Baltimore metro area. The new location is fully owned and operated by Gramophone and will showcase the company’s abilities in the areas of the contemporary kitchen and bath designs—complete with fully integrated technology and lighting solutions.
Opening officially on May 31, the Kitchen Design Center is located in Cockeysville, Maryland is roughly a 20-minute drive from the Inner Harbor in Baltimore, and is the fourth location for Gramophone. Doubling down on several new initiatives introduced over the last few months by HTSA, the new Gramophone showroom will promote premium lighting fixtures, design, and services, coupled with the latest in voice control, mirrored televisions, and more, all integrated into a range of kitchen and bath designs.
“Over the years, we have gotten involved in more and more projects where we were installing technologies such as Seura mirror televisions in baths and advanced design lighting solutions in kitchens. As a result, we’ve been more involved than ever before in the incorporation of technology in these spaces considered so important by our clients,” Andrew Davis, CEO of Gramophone, said in a statement released by HTSA. “This move is a natural extension of that experience, where now Gramophone professionals at our Kitchen Design Center of Maryland will be involved even earlier in the design process of residential projects with our great selection of the finest kitchens and baths, tastefully enhanced with premier lighting designs and subtly augmented with popular entertainment, control, and networking technologies.”
Though the addition of the new location is a big one, the move itself into the new showroom should be a relatively easy one for Gramophone. The center that they’re taking over was already utilized as a kitchen and bath showroom. It’ll be redesigned, of course, to better suit the needs of Gramophone’s clients and partners. The company intends for this to be much more than a showroom for technology with a few kitchen and bath props. Rather, “it is first and foremost a full kitchen and bath design center that showcases tasteful lighting designs and subtle but impactful technology enhancements,” they said.
“We want to congratulate Andrew and the whole team at Gramophone for this dramatic and exciting addition to their company,” HTSA Executive Director Jon Robbins said in the statement. “The Kitchen Design Center of Maryland allows Gramophone to offer clients an alternative presentation of technology in areas of the home – kitchens and baths – that many hold near and dear to their hearts, but are generally unaware of the amazing influence that a well-designed lighting plan and other technology enhancements can deliver for even greater enjoyment. After 42-years of success, I am confident that this new Gramophone location will be a great catalyst for their next 42-years of success.”
Gramophone will hold a grand opening celebration for the new location (10534 York Rd., Cockeysville, MD) on May 31.
