HTSA holds first-ever Tech Forum
As part of its continuing initiative to "evolve the buying group perception," the Home Technology Specialists of America (HTSA) held its first-ever Tech Forum late last month.
The three-day event, held in Schaumburg, Ill., hosted both HTSA members and vendors "to hear from both peers and third-party experts on a variety of technical and business development topics including: Internal Operations, Labor Utilization, Networking, Improving Efficiencies in Implementing Control Systems, Measuring Project Success and more," said the organization. "HTSA members shared a wealth of best practices and tactics that will not only improve business operations but also help vendors achieve their goals within the buying group."
In line with current trends, numerous sessions also centered on the Internet of Things and how memebrs can leverage it to sell the smart home concept.
The next HTSA event will be the HTSA Fall Conference, to be held September 15 to 17 at the Sofitel Hotel in Chicago.
