The Home Theater Specialists of America (HTSA) buying group held its 10th annual fall meeting, nicknamed The Faying Fall Pump Up, at the Westin Michigan Avenue in Chicago. HTSA said 150 vendor partners and members shared three days of meetings, dining and presentations, including one from Dr. Al Bates of The University of Colorado on the financial strength of the business and the members.
Other presentations included a look at the group’s holiday marketing initiatives, and a speech from HTSA Director of Training David Berman on HTSA’s Services Suite and his training goals for the organization. Also included was a roundtable discussion on “How to Increase Volume and Profitability,” as well as a dozen 25-minute one-on–ones. Vendors showing new products included Arcam, ERA, Color Kinetics, SpeakerCraft and Kaleidescape.
