Honeywell is latest partner to join Control Cooperative Program by On Controls
Home and commercial control solutions provider On Controls announced that Honeywell has joined the company’s Parnters in Control cooperative program. The program is designed to bring together a slew of companies in an effort to achieve seamless compatibility between their products and the On Controls connected platform. Now, consumers and commercial users of On Controls’ new driver will be able to easily connect their Honeywell WiFi and RedLINK smart thermostats to the automation platform.
“On Controls welcomes Honeywell to the On Controls Partners in Control program and we are excited to offer our network of professional integrators an efficient solution for interfacing with these popular connected home devices,” On Controls Director of Control Jeff Skalny said in a statement. “The new Honeywell driver works with a broad range of Honeywell climate control solutions, enabling integrators to efficiently and expertly address their client’s needs within a wide array of price points.”
The Honeywell smart thermostats feature proprietary wireless protocol (called RedLINK), sophisticated programmability, and scheduling capability, as well as touchscreen interfaces, On Control explained in its statement. Honeywell joins a list of myriad companies that include audio, video, HVAC, security, lighting controls, and others that are part of the On Controls Partners in Control program.
