GoldenEar Debuts Triton Five, XXL Subwoofer
Sandy Gross' decorated speaker brand GoldenEar Technology at International CES this week will introduce two new products: The Triton Five Tower speaker and SuperSub XXL subwoofer.
The Triton Five is described by the company as "a larger version of the Seven," with improved dynamic range and deeper bass extension.
"The unique cabinet shape is both acoustically purposeful as well as strikingly attractive, with an upward sloped front baffle as well as tapered sides, to cut down on internal resonances and focus the D’Appolito driver array to ear level. The Triton Five is ideal for use in two channel systems of the highest quality, as well as complete multi-channel surround music and home theater systems," the company said in a statement. The Triton Five arrives in March at an MSRP of $999.
The SuperSub XXL is described as the first in a new series of high-performance subwoofer products.
"Highly styled, piano gloss black finished and reasonably sized, these subwoofers are capable of generating very low-frequency pressure waves of extremely high amplitude, while delivering accurate and precise low frequency performance that is both highly impactful and extremely musical," the company said.
The SuperSub XXL will arrive this summer and cost $1999.
GoldenEar is exhibiting at Venetian Tower Suites 30-131 and 30-132.
