Former Magnolia AV President Joins Signals AV
Signals AV has hired Jim Tweten as their new Cheif Business Development Officer, immediately adding depth from his decorated career as President/CEO of Magnolia Audio/Video.
Recently, Jim Tweten was recognized alongside his father, Len, as CE Hall of Fame honorees in 2013. Tweten began his career with Magnolia in 1971, spearheading the company’s growth, customer service, and culture. As a result of Tweten’s leadership, Magnolia garnered a spot as one of the top 10 consumer electronic companies in the United States for twenty years in a row – an unmatched industry achievement.
In 2001 Magnolia was acquired by Best Buy Co. Inc., a multinational retailer of technology and entertainment products and services. Beginning in 2003, as President of Magnolia Home Theater within the Best Buy brand, Jim led the charge to open new Magnolia home theater stores inside more than 300 Best Buy U.S. retail locations. Jim was the brainchild of the “store within the store” concept, which continues to flourish within the Best Buy brand today. Jim was deeply involved in leading the company’s transformation to be a more service-oriented provider of premium home entertainment and automation solutions.
