DPL Labs Launches Seal of Approval Program, New Site
DPL Labs this week announced a "major expansion" of its Digital Performance Level (DPL) HDMI cable testing and certification program. As part of the program, products that pass the program will receive a "Seal of Approval" trademark on its packaging.
“Our new DPL Seal of Approval will make it easier than ever for all cable buyers, consumers and professionals, to clearly identify which HDMI cables have been Approved by DPL to offer higher quality performance – and better long-haul reliabilit," DPL Labs' president, Jeffrey Boccaccio, said as part of the announcement. "When you want to know which HDMI cable to buy…simply look for the DPL Seal of Approval – it is the only way you’ll know for sure that the product is independently tested and Approved to provide superior HDMI performance.”
In addition, DPL announced that it has launched a new website, meant to more easily provide information about both HDMI products and the new Seal of Approval Program. The new site includes a new search engine, a "Featured Item" section, and easy-to-find listings of HDMI products that have received the Seal of Approval.
And finally, DPL said that it has reached an agreement with PPC and its Perfect Path line, to become a participating member in the Seal of Approval program.
