A number of brands and products were represented at the D+M booth on the CEDIA 2015 show floor at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas this week. D+M hosted demonstrations and product previews for Denon, Marantz, and Boston Acoustics.
Among the products previews, D+M had available the HEOS by Denon wireless multiroom sound system. The line includes four wireless multi-zone music players, the HEOS 1 ($199) and its Go Pack accessory ($99), HEOS 3 ($299), HEOS 5 ($399), and HEOS 7 ($599), and the HEOS Drive amplifier ($2,499), HEOS Home Cinema soundbar and wireless subwoofer ($799), HEOS Link stereo pre-amplifier ($349), and HEOS Amp ($499).
Denon explained on the floor that HEOS supports full custom integration through an open control API that is compatible with any third-party control or home automation system. The company is directly with home automation manufacturers to provide turn-key certified control drivers and moduels that will easily integrate the entire HEOS lineup of products into the various ecosystems. At CEDIA, Denon displayed HEOS's compatibility with platforms like Control4, Crestron, RTI, Key Digital Compass Control, Pro Control, and URC.
The D+M Theater at CEDIA incorporated a variety of products to showcase some innovations in 3D and object-based surround sound including Dolby ATMOS and DTS:X.
