D&H Helps Employees During Downturn
Distributor D&H said this week that it has taken several steps to make things easier for employees during the recession. These include an Employee Stock Ownership Plan, an increased 401 (k) match, a multifaceted wellness program, and a no-interest employee loan program.
The company has also established participation in charity efforts that include contributions to autism awareness, the March of Dimes, the American Cancer Society and more.
“We have a very simple philosophy at D&H. We ask people to work hard, but to have a good time while doing it,” sDan Schwab, co-president at D&H, said as part of the announcement. “The result is that our employees treat the company as if it’s their own, which in effect, it really is. We’re all vested in keeping the customer satisfied.”
D&H has posted a video on its Web site, called "The Question," about why customers choose the company as their distributor. The video can be viewed here.
