DISH Expands Integration Partnerships at CEDIA Expo
DISH announced at CEDIA Expo that it is solidifying its commitment to the custom integration community by expanding its partnerships with integration companies beyond its 2013-forged relationship with Control4 – adding Crestron, Savant and AMX to its alliance roster. Other DISH partners include Cinemar and Roomie.
“We’re making it easier for integrators to create new experiences for the end user,” Vivek Khemka, DISH’s senior vice president of product management, said at the announcement, explaining the rationale behind sharing the DISH Hopper API (Application Programming Interace) more broadly across brands.
DISH has also engaged Frank DeFilippis as its product lead for its channel programs, to aid integrators in the field, and promising further details on initiatives in that vein as programs are developed.
“It’s an ongoing program – getting deeper integration and more partners on this journey,” added Khemka.
