"3D for Real" Showcase Held in California
Digital Projection, Stewart Filmscreen, S1Digital and Crestron last week held a "3D for REAL" AV showcase at Stewart Filmscreen in Torrance, Calif. Stewart Filmscreen hosted numerous AV integrators, industry partners and interested parties at the event.
During the event, DP announced that both Panasonic and Samsung Blu-ray players are compatible with DP's Titan and Lightning 3-chip 3D precision projectors, an industry first.
At the event, which featured both already-available 3D precision products and media server products that work with both 2D and 3D content, education seminars were hosted by the likes of Eric Leicht of AV Partners (commercial and residential 3D applications), Joaquin Rivera of Stewart Filmscreen (choosing an appropriate 3D screen) and George Walter of Digital Projection (essentials of 3D technology methods, as well as delivery methods and 3D market). Paul Heitlinger of S1 Digital also demonstrated the company's media server streams.
