Denon Adds HEOS Drive Amplifier, New Receiver
Denon this week announced the arrival of its new HEOS drive, the HEOS Drive network multi-room amplifier, which is described as a whole-home distributed audio system in a single, compact chassis.
The product will arrive in July at an MSRP of $2,499. It features four HEOS zones, an eight-channel Class-D amplifier, and access to such streaming music services as Spotify, Pandora, TIDAL, TuneIn, iHeartRadio and SiriusXM.
“HEOS Drive was specially created by the custom installer for the custom installer,” Brendon Stead, Denon’s vice president of product development. “The market has been asking for a single chassis, multi-zone, streaming amplifier for years. This is it."
Also Wednesday, Denon announced the AVR-S510BT 5.2 Channel Full 4K HD A/V Receiver, its newest receiver in a new series. The new receiver arrives in June at an MSRP of $279.
