DBL Releases Summer/Fall Catalog
DBL Distributing released its Summer/Fall 2007 catalog, which it calls its largest to date, at more than 1,100 pages. Included are more than 17,000 product (3,000 of them new), nearly 2,000 permanent price reductions, and 31 new manufacturers.
Featured products “are relevant to all segments of consumer electronics, including home audio/video, custom installation, professional sound and entertainment, observation and security, mobile A/V, telecom, photography/video, personal and portable (satellite radio and iPod), video game accessories, two-way radios (scanners and GPS) and computer accessories,” said the distributor. A particular focus is accessories.
DBL said the home audio/video, cellular, custom installation and professional sound and entertainment sections have expanded the most, due to an influx new items and vendors, such as BreatheAudio, Premier Mounts and Olevia.
DBL publishes a catalog three times a year, along with monthly sale flyers and vendor flyers that introduce new products, new price drops and closeout items. Daily promotions are provided through an e-mail newsletter. “This catalog, in particular, is extremely well-merchandised, as we considered input from customers and their desire to see products in true color and be able to reference detailed product specifications in an easy-to-follow layout in the catalog,” said DBL President and CEO David Lorsch.
