CTA Opens the Call for Speakers for CES 2017
I know it’s been a good five months since it ended, but doesn’t it feel like CES 2016 is still not too far off in the rearview mirror? Nevertheless, the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) is already well into the process of prepping things for CES 2017 in Las Vegas next January.
As you know, CES tries to cover the “hottest” themes in technology, trends, and disruptive innovation throughout the industry. As such, they seek to add compelling speakers to their conference lineup. And now, CTA revealed the dates that they’ll be accepting speaker applications from industry experts, as well as the list of themes that they’re looking to hit on in 2017.
First, the topics:
CTA said that the CES Call for Speakers application period will be open from June 1 through June 22. They encourage applicants to include a list of speaking experience and video links featuring the proposed speaker. Each speaker can apply up to three times, and, if selected, they will be slated to cover the theme that “best showcases the speaker’s knowledge.” CTA said it will review submissions and place selected speakers on panels of up to four participants.
“We invite you to submit speaker applications that would add diverse and inspiring perspectives to a panel,” the association said in a statement. “We encourage you to visit CES.tech to view required information to prepare you for the June 1 launch.
