Crestron Releases the Crestron Performance UI for its TSR-310 Remote
Crestron has released this month the Crestron Performance UI, a new user interface experience designed exclusively to launch on the company’s TSR-310, upping the game for that specific model of handheld touch screen remote. The Crestron Performance UI integrates natively with the Crestron Pyng OS 2 operating system, giving residential integrators a way to deliver user experiences never seen before in a handheld remote, says the company.
Crestron says that the Crestron Performance UI also reduces deployment time, thanks to minimal programming requirements. Crestron integrators can currently download the latest Crestron Pyng OS 2 update to see how the TSR-310 UI instantly updates to the Crestron Performance UI.
Said Michael Short, global residential marketing manager, “With the Crestron Performance UI, our residential integrators can deliver an incredible user experience that takes virtually no time to configure. It’s the full package.”
Among the new features, the Crestron Performance UI provides integrated media, lighting, shades, and climate control along with quick actions, for smooth transitions and animations. The UI is pre-built, so no design tools are necessary. The voice command interface is built-in, as well, further simplifying configuration, says Crestron. It is supported in Crestron Pyng OS 2 via a simple OS update.
