The British speaker company Bowers & Wilkins announced this week that it will soon release a new speaker system aimed at connecting with the iPod. The Zeppelin system, only two feet wide, functions as a “truly high-end sonic experience” in just a one-piece system.
The Zeppelin comes equipped with 800 series loudspeakers, and a five-inch subwoofer in the center. It also features an aluminum-dome tweeter and crossover circuits, which have often been associated with Bowers & Wilkins products of the past. The Zeppelin will be released September, at Apple Stores and online, and go for a suggested retail price of $599.
