CEDIA said it is offering a new Designer Review course for electronic system professionals preparing to take the CEDIA Designer certification exam.
The course includes “hands-on training and education in the areas of needs analysis, design documentation, project design and design management,” said CEDIA. “Designers will learn to budget, build client relationships, plan wire schedules and validate system performance.”
Available to CEDIA members for $599 and non-members for $799, the course is intended to prepare system designers to run projects from start to finish.
The designer determines the scope of a project, assesses conditions and complications, and creates a budget to provide a high-performance custom home electronic system, said the organization.
