Celebrating Atlona’s 10-Year Anniversary
Technology Integrator: As the president of the company, what standards, benefits, and advantages do you have the company focused on achieving? Have those changed in the past 10 years?
Ilya Khayn: This is an exciting time for our industry. AV distribution is growing at an incredible rate and it is creating an amazing opportunity for Atlona to truly stretch our wings in terms of new solution development. With a focus to continuously drive innovation, we are at the forefront of advanced technologies such as 4K distribution and have some amazing solutions in the wireless and streaming space on the horizon.
With our Atlona Advantage Program, we go well beyond our technology products by focusing on a commitment to customer service and support. Despite being a global company, we are still a family run operation and we pride ourselves on giving all of our partners individualized support. I remind my employees daily that we need to keep sight of the value that we bring to our customers using our enhanced standard for support. From system design, to training, to backend servicing, our goal is to be by our clients’ side for the entire duration of the solution lifecycle. When we began this company we asked our partners to trust us. Ten years later and for as long as we have this company, we will continue to focus on supporting the people who have put their trust in our brand.
TI: 2013 marks Atlona’s 10-year anniversary. What factors or practices do you think have helped maintain the company’s staying power within the AV distribution marketplace?
IK: Our 10-year milestone in AV distribution has been made possible by our commitment to engineering excellence. We are in the business of building and providing dependable AV transports for all kinds of signals — from a multitude of different sources towards any number of displays and projectors. This is a nuanced and complex industry, especially since the advent of digital signals. If we did not offer our partners a mix of high quality dependable solutions, we would not be here today. Trade shows are littered with “black box” companies yet our high quality, solution-based offerings have led to our continued success for over a decade.
