CEDIA Seeks a CEO
CEDIA has been without a CEO since Utz Baldwin stepped down in late 2011. But with executive director and COO Don Gilpin stepping down, CEDIA has launched a search for a new CEO.
According to the announcement, CEDIA has retained executive search firm Korn/Ferry International to lead the search.
"The continuing growth and international expansion of CEDIA signaled a desire to better define its executive structure to best support the long term goals of the organization," CEDIA said in a statement. "CEDIA is searching for an individual with global leadership experience who shows passion for the growth of the organization and the membership globally. The CEO will report the Board of Directors and collaborate with the Board to forge the strategic vision for the organization."
The group also announced that Tabatha O'Connor has been named chief operating officer.
Baldwin, CEDIA's first-ever CEO, served from 2008 through 2011. Following his departure, Gilpin took on greater responsibilities.
