CEDIA EXPO Course of the Day: Your Security Customer Contract
Each day, we’re going to be featuring a specific CEDIA course that you can take at CEDIA EXPO in October.
Today’s entry is Your Security Customer Contract: Learn the Risks & Liabilities, instructed by Les Gold and Daria Boxer of Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp.
The security business can be profitable, but it also exposes companies to higher risks and liabilities inherent to security and emergency response services. To protect your business against the consequences of these higher risks, you need to have a security-specific customer agreement with robust legal protective provisions. This session provides companies with an overview of key provisions to be included in any security industry customer agreement and discusses the significance of these agreements for your business.
The Class Number is ESB0036-1, it provides 1 Continuing Education Unit (CEU), and it takes place Wednesday, October 14, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
A la carte, this course costs $105 for CEDIA members and $150 for non-members. However, CEDIA is offering the CEDIA Training Pass for $529, which gives you access to an unlimited number of training courses with the exception of certification exams, the Design Documents: Creating AV System Blueprint Drawings Workshop, and the CEDIA Outreach Instructor (COI) “Train the Trainer” Workshop.
