CEDIA EXPO Course of the Day: Transition Your Business from Selling Hardware to Delivering Experiences
Each day, we’re going to be featuring a specific CEDIA course that you can take at CEDIA EXPO in October.
Today’s entry is Transition Your Business from Selling Hardware to Delivering Experiences, instructed by Joseph Kolchinsky and Kevin Lotto of OneVision Resources.
Hardware margins are decreasing and you’re trying to create recurring revenue to counter the effect. But how do you adapt your business to the demands of a service economy? How do you change clients’ perception of you from that of an ”installer of technology” to a professional service provider? This class teaches the home technology professional how to evaluate their business from a service perspective and make the necessary changes to survive and thrive in this new economy.
The Class Number is ESB0035-1, it provides 1 Continuing Education Unit (CEU), and it takes place Friday, October 16, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
A la carte, this course costs $105 for CEDIA members and $150 for non-members. However, CEDIA is offering the CEDIA Training Pass for $529, which gives you access to an unlimited number of training courses with the exception of certification exams, the Design Documents: Creating AV System Blueprint Drawings Workshop, and the CEDIA Outreach Instructor (COI) “Train the Trainer” Workshop.
