CEDIA EXPO Course of the Day: Stayin' Alive in a DIY World
Each day, we’re going to be featuring a specific CEDIA course that you can take at CEDIA EXPO in October.
Today’s entry is Stayin' Alive in a DIY World, instructed by Evan Ackmann of Crestron.
The emergence of the Internet of Things means home technology professionals need to adapt to survive and thrive in this new DIY environment. The sudden and rapid adoption of DIY home technology can be viewed as a new growth opportunity for those who understand it and develop the tools to harness it.
The Class Number is ESB0039-1, it provides 1.5 Continuing Education Units (CEUs), and it takes place Saturday, October 17, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
A la carte, this course costs $140 for CEDIA members and $200 for non-members. However, CEDIA is offering the CEDIA Training Pass for $529, which gives you access to an unlimited number of training courses with the exception of certification exams, the Design Documents: Creating AV System Blueprint Drawings Workshop, and the CEDIA Outreach Instructor (COI) “Train the Trainer” Workshop.
