CEDIA EXPO Course of the Day: To Keep or to Fire? Five Tips for Doing It Right
Each day, we’re going to be featuring a specific CEDIA course that you can take at CEDIA EXPO in October.
Today’s entry is To Keep or to Fire? Five Tips for Doing It Right, instructed by Courtney Berg of CourtSide Consulting.
Terminating an employee can be one of the most difficult and stressful situations you can face. In this class, you learn a step-by-step process from progressive discipline to termination. Discover how to identify and correct poor performance, what to say in counseling sessions, what to include in written warnings, and how to know if training or termination is appropriate.
The Class Number is ESB0034-1, it provides 1 Continuing Education Units (CEU), and it takes place Wednesday, October 14, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
A la carte, this course costs $105 for CEDIA members and $150 for non-members. However, CEDIA is offering the CEDIA Training Pass for $529, which gives you access to an unlimited number of training courses with the exception of certification exams, the Design Documents: Creating AV System Blueprint Drawings Workshop, and the CEDIA Outreach Instructor (COI) “Train the Trainer” Workshop.
