The three new Focal Kanta speakers add bookshelf, center, and floor standing speakers to round-out their premium offerings.
First introduced in October last year, the Kanta line of speakers have always been deeply rooted in performance. A host of technologies including Tuned Mass Damper and Neutral Inductance Circuit Technology to keep the sound clean and unfiltered. Beryllium tweeters set an industry standard while flax fiber cores enclosed by two thin layers of glass fiber create a rigid and light cone. It's the small attention to detail that brings the Kanta line so far, making their new offerings just icing on the cake.
The Kanta N1 offers a minimalistic approach for audiophiles, giving a bookshelf speaker with a lot of punch to the lineup. An exposed port allows space for inserted foam to optimize bass if on a bookshelf or near a wall, but it can also be displayed on a stand. The Kanta N3 now sits above the N2 in terms of price and power, offering a sound neutrality unlike any other product on the market. New IAL tweeters "expose the tiniest details with clinical precision." Both of the new Kanta N1 and N3 speakers help fill out Focal's line of passive offerings as far as left and right channels are concerned. The N2 was released last year, giving dealers a 'good, better, best' option when discussing audio needs for clients.
The Kanta Center brings a unique compliment to the line-up, offering an otherwise crucial piece of hardware to any media room setup. Regardless of the configuration considered for the front and rear loudspeakers within the Kanta range, its ability to reproduce the vocal range with extreme neutrality, at both low and very high volumes, makes it a formidable weapon in any premium Home Cinema set-up.
Complimenting the entire line, Focal Kanta is available in the same 8 finishes as the Kanta N2, ensuring that all the speakers can fit a similar aesthetic. The three new speakers also bring a line of speaker stands and fall in line with the Sub 1000 F subwoofer.
