CED to host annual Fall Ball, for first time, in three separate events
Consumer Electronics Distributors (CED), a member of the PowerHouse Alliance and a distributor of consumer and specialty electronics in the Chicago metropolitan market and the broader Midwest, announced its annual Fall Ball event, which gives local dealers and customers a preview of new products that will be on display at the CEDIA Expo in October.
But CED said that it will, for the first time, expand the Fall Ball to three separate events—one at its Northbrook, Illinois, headquarters (September 29), followed by one in New Berlin, Wisconsin (September 30), and one more at their newest location in Bloomington, Minnesota (October 6).
“Over the past 15 years, we have developed great relationships with our local customer base, largely because of this annual event that allows them to have one-on-one quality conversations with manufacturers they want to work with,” Avery Baron, President of CED, said in a statement. “This year, since CEDIA Expo takes place later in the fall, we had the unique opportunity to give our dealers a first-look at the products that will shape the end of 2015.”
The Fall Ball will feature representatives from several brands like Pioneer, LG, Yamaha, Sunbrite, Sanus, Wyrestorm, and several others. The events in Northbrook and Bloomington will also include a number of product training sessions throughout the day.
Attendees will be treated to a catered lunch and dinner, and they will also have access to unique sales and inventory opportunities like extended dating on qualified orders and exclusive one-day-only pricing on a list of products. And CED will be holding a raffle for several hundreds of different prizes, including one LG OLED TV (valued at $7,000) that will be handed out at each event.
