CEA Warns of “Other” CES
The Consumer Electronics Association this week issued a warning that another company is infringing on its trademark for “International CES.”
The company, which calls itself “International Consumer Evaluation Services LLC,” has been sending messages to consumers asking them to become “secret shoppers” and participate in a “Consumer Research Program.”
“”International Consumer Evaluation Services LLC” is no way affiliated with or authorized by the Consumer Electronics Association or the International CES,” CEA said in a statement. Those receiving messages are encouraged to contact the Federal Trade Commission here.
