Caavo Wants to Unify Your Streaming Devices
TV has gotten complex over the last few years. Content now comes from a variety of sources like apps and set top boxes, all of which connect to your TV through different ports. As WIRED put it, “What you need is a Rosetta stone for your TV.”
And along came Caavo.
Caavo is an AI capable of controlling any device that can be attached to a TV. It was created to let users connect and control pay TV, streaming and gaming via one device.
The box features eight HDMI ports and sports software to configure any device that is plugged in. It also features a wooden universal remote capable of controlling almost every device hooked up to the box. If users already have a remote they’re partial to, Caavo will automatically switch its functionality to the remote in use.
The device already works with Alexa and Google Assistant and Siri integration are in the works. It will ship this Fall for an initial price of $399.
