C.E.D. recaps its 16th annual Fall Ball
Consumer Electronics Distributors (C.E.D.), a Chicago-area-based regional distributor of name brand consumer and specialty electronics, hosted dealers and manufacturers at three separate events for its 16th annual Fall Ball event. This was the first time that C.E.D. hosted a series of events for Fall Ball, but the group said the experience enabled dealers from all over their five-state territory to attend and receive training on new products.
Representatives from nearly 30 manufacturers, totaling about 300 dealers, attended C.E.D.’s Fall Ball, held at its Northbrook, Illinois headquarters, New Berlin, Wisconsin location, and its Bloomington, Minnesota location. There, they were able to see the new fall product lines on display, network with other local professionals, and secure exclusive deals, C.E.D. said.
“Every year, we put our heads together and come up with fresh ideas to make each event different, and more successful than the last,” Avery Baron, President of C.E.D., said in a statement. “We brought in trainers and representatives from the brands that are currently shaping the marketplace and gave our customers a chance to see the resources we have as a distribution partner.”
For each event, C.E.D. brought in reps from Yamaha and LG to each host three training sessions on their latest products that dealers will be working with. Further, attendees at all three were given access to one-day-only exclusive sales and inventory offers like extending dating on qualified orders and competitive pricing specials. And C.E.D. kept the events packed as they raffled off hundreds of prizes including three LG OLED TVs.
“As we head into CEDIA Expo and the final quarter of the year, we feel confident that we have armed our dealers with powerful sales, product and marketing knowledge through these three events,” Baron said. “We want to continue to be a valuable resource and trusted partner year after year as we near the 20th Anniversary of the Fall Ball.”
