Mobile Solutions will be located at booth number 123.
Schmitt will be conducting a seminar, "How to Make Money on Custom Fabrication," during which he will demonstrate selling techniques, how to charge for custom installation, and how to maximize system design with custom labor.
This year's booth activities will also include various router techniques, electrical measurements, and demonstrations of the most exclusive installation tools and supplies available. Each topic is designed to be a building block of greater efficiency and more profit potential for the mobile electronics retailer.
"The Mobile Solutions concept is pretty simple: Educate the clients to use repeatable techniques that create better installation designs while at the same time maximizing their profit," explains Schmitt, a 15-year veteran who has been honored with several industry awards from Car Sound & Performance and CES.
"We want to show MERA attendees a sample of what our training programs offer, only in real time right there on the show floor. We also want to educate them during our seminar because more profits are out there if they are just willing to put in the time to better train their sales and back bay install employees," he adds.
Most recently, Schmitt worked for Innovation Audio in Bellevue, Washington as the director of technical development. He has specialized in developing processes for designing and selling custom installation techniques.
