Beale Street Audio announced on Tuesday the launch of a new Street Smart Dealer program, which utilizes a set of guidelines and incentives to educate, protect, and reward dealers who sell the company’s products. According to Beale Street Audio, the program consists of a Dealer Bill of Rights, a rebate program, discounts for showroom and personal-use products, and numerous other “practical policies.”
Among those practical policies, the company explained in a press release, are traditional policies like no online sale, replacement guarantees, and white-glove customer service. The program also includes things like free upgrades on out-of-stock products, same-day shipping, a try-it/buy-it program, deep employee and showroom discounts, and other regularly occurring and limited-time discounts.
"I was a dealer long enough to know how important it is to have mutually beneficial partnerships with the brands you represent," said Jim Murray, managing director, Beale Street Audio. "Our Street Smart Dealer Program takes all of the most important lessons we've learned over the years about what dealers want and need from their partners, and puts them into a set of simple, practical guidelines."
The program is structured around multiple levels of participation, and each level’s name is a play on the word “street,” the company said. For example, the “Autobahn” level, the most lucrative program level, would apply to dealers who spend a designated amount quarterly and offers 10 percent cash rebates, 50 percent off showroom and personal-use products, and the out-of-stock upgrade.
Other levels include Highway, Country Road, Main Street, and Drive Thru. There is no fee to enroll in the program, and Beale Street Audio said it will work with dealers to determine the best starting tier.
