Azione Unlimited “Sagacious Summit” Attendees Say Event Delivered Powerful Advice and Actionable Insights
Azione Unlimited (AU), the education and buying group for custom installers and home technology professionals, hosted a record number of attendees during its recent Sagacious Summit in San Antonio, held at the Westin Riverwalk. For three days, dealers, manufacturers, guest speakers and panelists shared insights, participated in thought-provoking sessions, and enjoyed time together not only as members but as friends. Together, the group helped Azione Unlimited celebrate its fifth anniversary in style, with collaboration, camaraderie, and unbridled enthusiasm for the future. Attendees report they left San Antonio energized, informed, and excited to put all they learned into action.
Successful Small Group Sessions
Small group meetings replaced the traditional vendor roundtables and provided Azione members the opportunity to learn about opportunities, initiatives, and ideas that others have found success with. These peer group conversations, often led by an integrator member, covered topics from how to successfully tackle large projects in multi-dwelling units and running a successful service department, to selling performance a. Sessions ranged from the technical (Cantara’s Jason Voorhees discussing the distribution of next generation video formats) to the business-oriented (Audio Images’ Mark Ontiveros discussing employee health benefits). CEDIA’s Vice President of Emerging Technologies David Pedigo offered insights as to where CEDIA members are (and aren’t) making money. In another session, Pedigo provided an in-depth look at the future of display technology.
The honesty and the level of detail in these meetings, as reported by attendees, were both amazing and appreciated. “What our members say they witnessed at this event—and especially in these small group meetings—was an open and honest sharing of insight, information, business successes and failures and everything in between,” says Azione Unlimited President Richard Glikes. “This is exactly what we strive for at our conferences, with integrator and vendor members supporting each other, providing help, guidance and, perhaps most importantly, inspiration. I couldn’t be happier with the success of the event and am honored to hear from attendees it was our best ever.”
