AVC Changes: Detmer is Niles President; Farinelli Promoted
AVC announced Tuesday that its subsidiary Niles Audio has named Mike "Sparky" Detmer president. Detmer, who had been with Niles since 1999, replaces Frank Sterns, who retired earlier this year.
AVC also announced that ELAN Home Systems president Bob Farinelli is now the AVC Group's chief technology officer, and has been replaced by Paul Starkey.
In addition, Richard Schnell has been named AVC's vice president of finance and Vipul Doshi is now vice president of operations. Graham Hallett remains president of the Xantech brand.
“This is the ‘A Team’ that will solidify and extend our position as the industry’s leading supplier of audio, video, and control technologies and system solutions,” AVC President Mark Terry said in a statement.
“Each of these individuals brings a wealth of talent, experience, and capabilities to their new positions and I am confident that they will work as a team that will chart the future course of both our company as well as the industry we all serve.”
