Anthem Launches MDX Multi-Zone Distribution Systems
Manufacturer of high-end electronics for music and home theater, Anthem Electronics has now launched what they say is the “world’s most advanced and versatile multi-zone distribution systems.” The MDX Series includes the MDX-16 audio inputs/outputs and the MDX-8 audio inputs/outputs with fully powered independent-zone subwoofer connections, and Anthem Room Correlation (ARC) Genesis for each zone. Additional features include advanced DSP processing, matrix switching, and Anthem’s amplification technology for consistent high power and reliability.
Anthem’s web-based setup makes it easy for users to customize zone configurations, adjust levels, run network firmware updates, and run ARC with customized settings. Users can opt to add a subwoofer, which would also benefit from ARC, through an RCA connection or by assigning it to a zone’s output power. The MDX Series can also be configured to operate alongside leading home automation systems like Control4, Crestron, ELA, RTI, Savant, and URC. Once setup is complete, homeowners can access their user interface on any connected device.
“Only the MDX Series gives listeners this much control over multiple zones, supporting creative system designs and thrilling audio performance,” says Anthem.
