Anderson to "Wind Down" 3vNet
Industry veteran Mike Anderson this week announced plans to "wind down" 3vNet, while also announcing the launch of a new company called Automated Control Technology Partners, Inc. (ACTP).
The purpose of the new company is to "redefine home control beginning with the launch of a new home automation brand," which will debut next month.
“The home automation industry has seen a number of great innovations over the years,” Anderson said in a statement. “While those solutions have served the needs of custom installers and their customers, the time has come for a necessary paradigm shift in the approach to control. ACTP’s mission is to revitalize the industry by taking an ‘outside-in’ approach to home automation by focusing on the user experience as the single most important driving factor behind product development.”
Anderson purchased the former Colorado vNet and relaunched it as 3vNet last year.
