Almo Professional A/V “Sorts Through the Noise” with Launch of Sound Options Audio Sourcing & Engineering Group
Dedicating themselves to a professional audio-specific sales, technical, and engineering strategies., Almo has launched their Sound Options program with a debut on Almo's E4 AV Tour later this month.
Almo brings "more than 70 combined years of real-world audio expertise" to the group, dedicating themselves to not only helping integrate the products but keep them updated and serviceable for clients. The Sound Options program is suitable for any project size and is encouraged to dealers as a way for them to streamline their needs instead of opening new accounts with every supplier.
For the program, a selection of microphones, speakers, amplifiers, conferencing, control, DSP's, and even simultaneous interpretation solutions are available. Some of the featured brands available through Sound Options include Revolution Acoustics, Tascam, BSS, Kramer, AMX, Atlas, Phoenix, Taiden, DBX, JBL, Crown, Ashly Audio, Beyerdynamic, and Biamp among others.
Rob Ziv and Steve Alexander have been chosen by Almo to run the program, both bringing strong business development backgrounds with them. Ziv, director of business development for Almo Professional A/V, is responsible for leading a team of Business Development Managers in the areas of audio, AV camera, capture devices, and emerging technologies. He has almost three decades of experience in sales, management, and training in the professional AV and recording industries.
Alexander specializes in installed audio, professional audio/video production, broadcast video conferencing, projection, audio recording, IP signal distribution, and networks. He taps into his expertise to educate the reseller and integrator, in turn allowing them to meet the needs of their clients and deliver and implement smart, functional audio solutions.
“Our customers know us for purchasing display products but the most important part of the install is the sound – if the audio is not operational, the whole installation is in trouble,” explained Ziv. He said that with 20-plus featured brands and access to dozens more, “if an Almo partner doesn’t see their favorite brand listed, all they have to do is ask and we can source it for them. In fact, sourcing those obscure, uncommon products is a service we offer. In addition, we can answer technical questions in-house and we have a direct line to all the audio manufacturers.”
