Alongside the official launch of the ALLie Camera by IC Real Tech this week, the company announced that the product has struck an important partnership with video streaming service YouTube. ALLie, now its own subsidiary under the IC Real Tech brand, announced that the ALLie Camera will be fully integrated with YouTube, allowing the user to live stream their 360-degree content on the video platform. Ith the launch, the ALLie Camera becomes the first 360-degree everyday use camera with 24/7 viewing, recording, live streaming, still-capture, social sharing, and virtual reality (VR) capabilities.
“We are excited to work with YouTube as they take immersive video even further with 360-degree live streaming,” Dmitry Kozko, President of ALLie, said in a statement. “Now that the demand for real-time, 24/7 content has reached its peak, our ALLie Camera aligns perfectly with YouTube to give users the ultimate 360-degree, live streaming experience. ALLie is always on so that users don’t miss a thing, and now they can more easily share experiences with friends, family and fans on YouTube.”
ALLie said that the integration with YouTube makes the ALLie Camera an ideal platform for video bloggers, sports arenas, music venues, and other similar locations and businesses looking to give fans or viewers “complete freedom for how they see an event, allowing them to be there like never before.”
Users can now publicly or privately stream events like birthday parties, weddings, graduations, concerts, sports games, and more through YouTube, ALLie said. The viewer can simply swipe, zoom, and pan on their phone or tablet to see what’s going on and essentially be fully-immersed in the environment even them they’re not there, giving them complete control over their viewpoint. And with the included ALLie VR headset, or other similar devices, they can truly immerse themselves in the experience.
“We’re merging this ALLie Camera into that new, everyday use camera,” ALLie’s new vice president of sales and marketing Mark Sherengo said in an interview with Dealerscope prior to the announcement. “We’re trying to make it where this camera provides you memories like your baby’s first steps, but also provides you the ability to care for and protect and keep an eye on things that happen within your home. It also allows you to share memories and things that you’ve never been able to share via live streaming.”
ALLie explained that the ALLie Camera features full 4K resolution, cloud recording and storage, two-way audio, live and recorded VR modes, and more. It works through an AC adapter, which means no recharging of batteries or overheating. The device can be mounted on walls or ceilings, or simply placed on any surface.
