AHA Distribution opens fourth location
Catalyst AV member AHA Distribution recently opened its fourth location. The new Boynton Beach, Fla., facility, previously occupied by former Catalyst member Electronics Source, joins existing AHA locations in Marietta, Ga.; Tampa, Fla.; and Charlotte, N.C.
Two dozen manufacturers and over 100 dealer-integrators were on hand to christen the newly-opened AHA distribution center. The company says the new location will expand its reach into south Florida and the Caribbean and add additional CEDIA channel brands that can be delivered same-day/next-day throughout Florida.
Said Chad Sharp, general manager of the facility, “Our Grand Opening was an opportunity to show our dealers what AHA brings to the table. This is a fresh approach; this is not just about rebranding, this is an entirely new company.”
Mike Dyer of Definitive Technology attended the event. “This was one of the most exciting show/events of its type I've ever attended," he said. "Floor traffic was excellent and steady, the atmosphere was very positive and the dealer/contractors were buying. I was very pleased with the level of relationships already established between the AHA team and the local south Florida dealers, considering the AHA facility has been open less than two months. I was also pleased by the number of contractors who know our Definitive Technology brand and are excited that the product will now be available to them locally by AHA. All in all, a first rate show assembled and executed by a first rate team… We're proud to be associated with AHA Distributing.
Other manufacturers in attendance included Origin Acoustics, Key Digital, Wilson Electronics, Peerless, URC, IC Realtime, Tivo, CasaTunes, Middle Atlantic, Ethereal, Vivitek and Seura.
“The manufacturers said they were thrilled with the qualified buyers coming through the front door; better than anything they had seen in a long time," said AHA President Chris Gilray. "They also commented on our well-stocked warehouse; great for integrators coming in so they can shop at will at such a convenient location. It was the largest most energetic day in the history of our company. We gave away so many great prizes and dealers will love our special touch of lucrative loyalty rewards programs, frequent newsletters / product updates, aggressive on-site training schedule and of course our CEDIA channel-centric sales and tech support.”
