ADA Celebrates 30th Birthday with 30-Year Warranties
Multi-room audio manufacturer Audio Design Associates (ADA) turns 30 years old this month and, to mark the occasion, it will Implement a 30-year limited warranty that will apply to all of its new products sold by authorized dealers between July 4, 2007 and July 4, 2008.
“From a competitive standpoint, ADA-30 is the ultimate insurance policy for dealers to take to their homeowner and home-builder clients, said ADA Vice President and COO Richard Stoerger. “It also plays to those customers interested in supporting the growing ‘green movement’, as there is nothing green-friendlier than electronics that are built to last. We are so confident about ADA-30 that we expect to double sales revenues this next 12-month period without necessarily increasing our dealer base.”
The company said its ADA-30 program is particularly relevant for its new Structured Wiring Audio Network (SWAN) multi-room/multi-zone distributed audio amplifier system, which is Fannie Mae home mortgage-compliant because its electronics are permanently mounted in a sanctioned enclosure that sits within the wall of a home. “The reality is that SWAN will be the only product in the home covered by a warranty for the life of the mortgage or, depending on its term, even longer, and at no extra cost to the homeowner,” said Stoerger.
“ADA-30 is a smart move for Audio Design Associates,” said Bill Skaer, president/CEO of ADA dealer Eric Grundelman’s Cool AV in Mesquite, Texas, in an ADA release. “What customer could possibly say ‘no’ to a 30-year warranty? I envision ADA-30 leading to increased brand recognition and market share for ADA, and quickly.”
“Our product’s proven minimal failure rates enable us to institute ADA-30 with total confidence,” said Albert Langella, ADA’s chief design engineer, CEO and president. “We continue to use the best components that money can buy, with parts acquisition, design and manufacturing still conducted under my supervision here at our White Plains, N.Y., facility. ADA is worlds apart from our competitors’ off-shore-built products.”
